We provide a range of services together with social and recreational facilities. We promote the interests of the town and work in partnership with other public bodies to provide and supplement services within the town area.   

Mission Statement.
We exist to ensure that local services and the environment reach the highest possible standards within the resources available for citizens, visitors and those who work in Braunstone Town; to provide a focus for civic pride; to listen, identify and respond to agreed local needs; and to help develop a strong, secure, self reliant, self confident community, free from unlawful discrimination.     BRAUNSTONE TOWN COUNCIL TAKES OVER MANAGEMENT OF BRAUNSTONE TOWN LIBRARY ON TUESDAY 1st OCTOBER 2019

    The transfer agreements have been signed and Braunstone Town Council, from 1st October, is now running your Library.

    The Library will be open as normal.

    Launch event: Saturday 2nd November between 10am and 1pm.  Please come and join us to celebrate, share ideas for improvements and find out about the ways you can get involved.

  • Audit of Town Council Concludedaudit passed

    The External Audit of Braunstone Town Council has been concluded and has reported that our accounts have been prepared in accordance with the proper practices and that the Council has maintained throughout the year good standards of corporate governance.
