Crime Reduction
Welcome to the Town Council's Crime Reduction pages which can provide you with information on NHW Schemes and community safety initiatives for the Town.
A new approach to crime reduction in Braunstone Town has been taken by Braunstone Town Council. Anna Gomes-Alves has been employed to liaise more closely with the Police and other partners to improve communication and provide a faster response to any incidences occurring in Braunstone Town. She is responsible for simplifying the formation of Neighbourhood Watch schemes in the area and acting as the main 'co-ordinator' for a Braunstone Town wide Neighbourhood Watch scheme. Anna continues to work with the 'Town Watchers' support group and endeavours to keep members up to date with the latest crime trends. Another aspect of Anna's work is to help attract funding to purchase items such as speed activated warning signs, etc.
If you are interested in joining 'Braunstone Town Neighbourhood Watch', you have enquires regarding safety or you have any other enquires please contact Anna on 0116 2890045.
