HOURS: Part-time, average 7½ hours per week (390 hours per annum). Includes evenings and weekends
GRADE: NJC Scale 21 – 23 (for 7½ hours: £4,071 - £4,297)
CONTRACT: Permanent (subject to 6 months’ probation)
CLOSING DATE: 9am, Monday 14th January 2019
INTERVIEW DATE: Wednesday 6th February 2019
Braunstone Town Council is looking for a reliable person to provide safety and security of the Council’s premises to act as the first point of contact for all issues arising during the duty period and to ensure these are resolved where possible.
You will be the first point of contact, liaising with all visitors, including dealing with the needs and requirements of hirers, and booking enquiries in a polite and efficient manner.
To be a keyholder for the Councils buildings including responsibility for responding to emergency call outs.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have a proactive approach to be flexible with your shift patterns (to include evenings and weekends) and be willing to provide cover for holidays, sickness etc. at both Council’s Centres.
