Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
 
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: Lubbesthorpe Way, Enderby/Braunstone Town northbound between Penman Way and Meridian South (see weblink or scan QR code).
 
The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to safely facilitate streetlighting works.
 
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary 40mph speed restriction and lane closures. These works also require temporary lane closures on Junction 21 Approach under Lubbesthorpe Way bridge.
 
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of one day commencing on the 8th June 2024. Restrictions are proposed to be in place between 05:00 and 12:00.
 
A Press Release will be issued to confirm these details approximately two weeks prior to the works commencing.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
 
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: Kingsway, Braunstone Town between Turnbull Drive and Fernhurst Road (see weblink).
 
The purpose of the TTRO is to allow National Grid Electricity Distribution to safely facilitate substation works.
 
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.
 
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of two days commencing on the 6th April 2024.
 
A Press Release will be issued to confirm these details approximately two weeks prior to the works commencing.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
 
Slip Roads from A563 Lubbesthorpe Way to A5460, Braunstone Town
 
Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
 
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for City Fibre to excavate and install new fibre.
 
A road closure is required on the slip road heading from A5460 towards Lubbesthorpe Way for 1 night between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 commencing on the 26/03/2024.
 
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: A5460, Narborough Road South, Lubbesthrope Way, Enderby.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following locations:
 
Ravenhurst Road, Braunstone Town – at the junctions with Henley Crescent and Welcombe Avenue.
Henley Crescent, Braunstone Town – at the junction with Ravenhurst Road and Welcombe Avenue.
Welcombe Avenue, Braunstone Town – at the junction with Ravenhurst Road and Henley Crescent.
 
The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching work.
 
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure & parking restriction.
 
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 1 day on the 17/03/2024.
 
A Press Release will be issued to confirm these details approximately two weeks prior to the works commencing.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: Slip Roads from A563 Lubbesthorpe Way to A5460, Braunstone Town.
 
The purpose of the TTRO is to allow City Fibre to excavate and install new fibre.
 
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure heading from the A5460 towards Lubbesthorpe Way.
 
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 1 night between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 commencing on the 26/03/2024.

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching work.
 
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure & parking restriction.
 
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 3 nights between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00 commencing on the 06/03/2024.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
 
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to undertake emergency repair and maintenance work.
 
An emergency road closure is required on Kingsway outside house number 182 commencing on the 20/02/2024.
 
The proposed alternative diversion route will be as signed on site.

The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of three days commencing on the 20th February 2024.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Cadent Gas to facilitate new connections.
 
A road closure is required on Braunstone Lane between Shakespeare Drive and Balmoral Drive on the 29th January 2023 for five days.
 
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: Braunstone Avenue, Cort Crescent, Woodshawe Rise, and vice versa.

A road closure is required on Bloxoms Close on the 15th December 2023 for one day between 09:30 and 15:30.

Holmfield Avenue East, Braunstone Town
 
Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
 
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate urgent water main repairs.
 
An emergency road closure is required on Holmfield Avenue East near to its junction with Wardens Walk from the 27th November 2023. Once works are completed the road will reopen.
 
Severn Trent Water only advised of the closure today, 28th November 2023.
 
The proposed alternative diversion route will be signed on site

There will no access from Hinckley Road turning onto Braunstone Lane. Access will be maintained for traffic travelling westbound from Braunstone Lane onto Hinckley Road.
 
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicester City Council to undertake emergency tree felling.
 
The proposed alternative diversion route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The Order will come into force on 14/11/2023 and have a maximum duration of 6 months.

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days.
