I’m writing to let you know that we’ll be carrying out essential maintenance works on the M69 Northbound junction 2 to M1 junction 21.
These works will take place between 8pm and 6am, Monday 14th October to Saturday 19th October, with the road being open from 6am on Saturday 19th October.
We will be continuing our work on the M69 Southbound - M1 Junction 21 to M69 Junction 1 from week commencing 21st October. These works will take place between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Thursday.

The purpose of the TTRO is to allow National Grid Electricity Distribution to safely facilitate installation of 33kv supply reinforcement scheme.
The TTRO will incorporate a temporary road closure.
There will be no access to the Narborough Road Service Road directly off Fosse Park Roundabout, location map on page two.
The duration of the restriction is not anticipated to exceed a period of 15 days commencing on the 18th September 2024.

NOTIFICATION OF WEEKEND CLOSURES FOR ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE WORKS
M69 Southbound - M1 junction 21 to M69 junction 1
I’m writing to inform you of some weekend closures for essential maintenance as part of the ongoing improvements on the M69 southbound - M1 junction 21 to M69 junction 1 (A5).
These will take place on the following dates:
• 8pm on Friday 16 August to 6am on Monday 19 August
• 8pm on Friday 30 August to 6am on Monday 2 September
• September Closure TBC
Please note that all planned works may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
How will the work affect traffic?
To keep our programme for these works as short as possible and to minimise disruption to the local community, residents, businesses and road users, we’ll be working under a full southbound carriageway closure including slip roads.
During these closures fully signed diversion routes will be in place, which have been agreed with the local authority.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for National Grid Electricity Distribution to facilitate installation of 33kv power supply reinforcement scheme.
A road closure is required on Narborough Road South southbound between Fosse Park Roundabout and Everards Roundabout on the 12th August 2024 for four nights. Closures will be in place between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.
During the closure there will be lane restrictions on Narborough Road South on approach to Fosse Park Roundabout
The proposed alternative diversion route will be via: A5460 Junction 21 Approach, Slip Road from A5460 to A563 Lubbesthorpe Way, Lubbesthorpe Way, Roundabout at Junction of Lubbesthorpe Way and Meridian South, and Lubbesthorpe Way (Southbound) to Everards Roundabout.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Leicestershire County Council to facilitate carriageway patching works.
Road closures and prohibition of waiting and loading is required on Radford Road and Beech Drive on the 12th July 2024 for one day as follows:
• Radford Drive from its junction with Beech Drive for approximately 150m

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate emergency water main repairs.
A road closure is required on Woodcote Road from its junction with The Chase for approximately 20 metres on the 20th June 2024, once works are completed the road will reopen, this is not expected to exceed three days.
The proposed alternative diversion route will be signed on site.

NORTH PARAPET UPGRADE WORK SCHEME
I am writing to inform you of the essential maintenance works that are to be carried out on the
bridge at the above location. The proposed works entails the removal of the existing parapet and
replacing it with a new metal parapet to accommodate cyclists.
To enable the works to be carried out safely the following programmed of works will follow :-
Phase 1: Meridian Way will be closed at the bridge between two roundabouts on 13thJune 2024,
from 09.30 to 14.30hrs to install temporary barriers on the existing North Footway.
North parapet upgrade work will be carried out from 14th to 27th June 2024.
Phase 2: Meridian Way will be closed again at the above location, on the 28thJune 2024
between 09.30 to 14.30hrs to remove the existing temporary barriers from the site.
A temporary diversion route will be in place during the closure time on the above-mentioned road
closure dates (see attached plan). Pedestrian access will be maintained at all the times.
ADVANCE NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER.
A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) is to be made for the following location: Westover Road Braunstone Town. The purpose of the TTRO is to allow Leicestershire County Council to carry out carriageway repair work.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for City Fibre to excavate and install new fibre.
A road closure is required on the slip road heading from A5460 towards Lubbesthorpe Way for 1 night between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 commencing on the 26/03/2024.
