Merrileys Park is a large nature area attached to Mossdale Meadows.
I suspect most locals wouldn't even know it has a different name! I have spent many days walking through Merrileys towards the Osiers nature reserve, picking blackberries and damsons.
Merrileys park measures 2.95 hectares (7.31 acres).
